Lupo, is the Founder and CEO of Lupo Sailing Experience.
The nickname “Lupo” originates from his hometown, Rome, a reference to the legendary Lupa Capitolina, but it was truly forged at sea — a symbol of his identity as a true sea wolf, always driven by wind, waves, and exploration. After relocating to the Canary Islands, the name naturally became part of his professional identity, embraced both on land and offshore.
The sea has been central to his life since childhood. Lupo began sailing at a young age with dinghies and windsurfing before progressing to offshore yachts. Today, he lives aboard his boat in the Canary Islands, maintaining a daily, direct connection with the marine environment that has shaped both his career and his approach to sailing.
With over 10 years of professional experience at sea, Lupo has built a solid background across multiple sectors of the yachting industry. His career began with yacht deliveries and offshore racing, later evolving into the charter industry, where he gained extensive experience working alongside highly respected captains and mentors. This path allowed him to develop strong operational, commercial, and client-management skills, now fully integrated into the structure of Lupo Sailing Experience, founded in 2025.
As a professionally licensed skipper (RYA ‘Yachtmaster Offshore’ with Commercial Endorsement, ‘PY’ Spanish Licence, ‘Ufficiale diporto’ commercial italian licence), with more than 30,000 nautical miles sailed and multiple Atlantic crossings, Lupo combines certified competence with real-world offshore experience. His direct knowledge of yachts, catamarans, and charter fleets across the Mediterranean enables the company to offer carefully curated vessels and reliable recommendations based on first-hand expertise.
